Laboratory Technician (Temp Contract to Nov 2017)

Contract type: Temporary

Job Elements: -

• Record experimental work and perform basic data analysis
• Operation of Instrumentation such as Eci/3600, Biomek, HPLC, SEC & Crossflow
• Maintenance and calibration of equipment
• Housekeeping, maintenance of a safe working environment and 5S activities
• Performing laboratory experimental work including formulation of reagents and controls
• Change control

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven laboratory practical skills
• Knowledge of process excellence DMAIC / Lean principles
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office tools for communication and reporting
• Knowledge of GMP Compliance
• Knowledge of laboratory health, safety and environment requirements
• Minimum of a Degree in a science related subject and/or relevant experience
• Minitab or other statistical analysis
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment
