Arlington Automotive provides supply chain integration to global OEMs in the automotive industry. We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to join our team to coordinate all activities related to quality policies, processes and systems to support in the achievement of relevant quality/industry standards such as ISO9001 and TS16949 / IATF16949.

Summary of Position

Reporting in to the Quality Manager the Quality Systems Engineer will support the business in developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems. Liaising with other departments including production, engineering and commercial. They are responsible for operating the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development. They take the lead on planning and implementation of all audits across all areas of the business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the company, including any business accreditations.
  • Analyse current and future procedural needs of the business.
  • Organise and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.
  • Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
  • Provide training on Quality issues and business processes.
  • Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
  • Support in external Quality System audits.
  • Support and lead process improvement / system activities.
  • Continuously review and monitor training requirements to ensure business capability is maintained.

Key Business Priorities for Role

  • Develop effective Procedures & Processes to ensure full compliance to business accreditations.
  • Achievement and maintenance of Industry standards required by the Company such TS16949 / IATF 16949 ISO9001.
  • Audit requirements established for all sites and completed to schedule.
