Residential Support Worker

Lavoro Care are currently recruiting Residential Support Worker’s (RSW’s) to work with one of our clients, who are a well-known children’s residential care provider, on a permanent basis.

RSW’s will work as part of a team providing a comprehensive residential service to children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviour.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are interested in working for a quality care provider who provide ongoing professional development to enable them to build a long-term rewarding career.

Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 - Children and Young People
• Experience of working with children in residential settings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to deal with physical and emotional demands of the job role.
• Knowledge of childcare and children’s developmental needs.
• Be committed to an anti-discriminatory practice
• Be prepared to undertake all relevant training and participate in meetings and supervision.

This role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks including DBS clearance, references, ID and right to work checks.
