We're looking for an Enablement Manager to join our team. Headway Gloucestershire was established in 1998 and since then we have been working to make a positive difference to the lives of adults with brain injury. We provide specialist recovery support and respite through our centre based Enablement Service and outreach support through our Community Links Service. 

Our centre based Enablement Service is the core of Headway Gloucestershire. Open every weekday, we offer activities that focus on the five elements of rehabilitation: emotional functioning; cognitive functioning; learning; social interaction and behaviour. This takes the form of a structured timetable so that survivors of brain injury can select the activities that help them work towards their own unique recovery goals. We work one to one and also employ a group format to harness the unique recovery benefits of peer contact and support.

You will join a dynamic team of staff and work with them to develop, deliver and review this service, working to clearly established quality standards and annual milestones. You will focus on developing the potential of the staff team to maximise our offer with a drive for continuous improvement.

The person we are looking for will have a collaborative management style, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work both proactively and reactively on their own initiative and as part of our team.
