Wyke Farms: Bruton Due to continuing success in the market, the multi-award winning Wyke Farms Dairy at Bruton is looking to recruit Cheese Packers and Cheese Makers for an immediate start. Cheese makers Wyke Farms would like to hear from people who have cheese making experience for their highly successful and expanding dairy at Bruton . We are keen to hear from people who: " Ideally, have a good level of experience in cheese making or cheese production line processing. We are also interested to hear from people who may have recently started training on cheese making. " Are diligent, conscientious and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. " Work well in a team. Shift rota and hours of work " The Bruton dairy produces cheese x 6 days per week. You will be working (4) days in any (6) alternating weekly, early shift (05:30 to 16:00 hours), late shift (15:00 to 01:30). Once fully trained, in any (7) week period you will work (1) week of night shift. Full details of the shift rota will be discussed with candidates selected for interview. " The dairy produces cheese on all Bank Holidays (excepting Xmas Day and New Year's Day) During the period from April through to June, it is anticipated that (7) day production will be necessary. This will involve requests to work overtime as well as at other times of the year. " Following full training, cheese makers can expect to be earning c. £25k per annum before any overtime.
