Job Title: Technical Sales
Location: Bell Bar, Hertfordshire
Salary Range: GBP40,000 per annum (negotiable)
Hours: 7.00am to 4.30pm
Holidays: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
Line Manager: Sales Team Leader

You will be required to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in sales (preferably within the construction industry).They are looking for someone who is able to think for the business, make responsible decisions on their own and be passionate about helping customers and providing excellent customer service. The candidate is required to demonstrate commitment, technical know-how, ownership and initiative.This position will be dealing with major projects within the business so you will need to be confident when dealing with high-level negotiations.
Job Description
- Research / qualify target customers, key influences and projects
- Understand the decision making process
- Develop strong relationships with all stake holders
- Create and maintain a strong a sales pipeline
- Contribute towards the company culture
- Be solution focused to overcome potential technical challenges
- Attention to detail and familiar with preliminaries, pricing structures & CAD drawings
Key Role Requirements
- Construction market knowledge
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Min 2 years' experience in similar role
- Strong IT skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong presentation & negotiation skills
- Strong organisation & time management
- Interpersonal and team-working skills
- Personable, presentable and articulate.
- Good numerical skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
