This award winning market leading manufacturer of Sensor products are looking to recruit a sole C#.NET Software Developer/C# Software Engineer to work across a multi-disciplined R&D software development team of 36 people.

As a C# Developer you will be working independently to develop leading edge Control Products, driver interfaces for Desktop, Web Services and Mobile Applications. You will also maintain and build upon existing .NET applications and tools.

The C# Developer will be comfortable working as a sole developer on a number of projects covering internal systems improvement, live customer applications and some systems integration. You must be a skilled communicator, able to manage stakeholders at every level of the business especially with respect to requirements gathering and sign-off. You will be familiar with all aspects of the development life cycle with a keen focus on quality.

Candidates should have at least 2 years current commercial C#.NET Development experience with a good understanding of MVC concepts, good RDBMS (including SQL Server) or Oracle, System requirement gathering and documentation, and Visual Studio.

It would be desirable if the C# Developer has experience of Agile methodologies, Mobile app experience or Manufacturing/Production Automation in an R&D environment.

The C# Developer will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for developing solutions that make a difference to their end users. As such you will have the scope to identify opportunities within the business for turning ad-hoc, unsupported cottage industry into robust, production standard system processes.
