Public Procurement Solicitor - Bristol (Commutable from: Cardiff, Taunton, Weston Super Mare & Bath) - 5 years+ PQE -- Are you well versed in all aspects of procurement law? In need of a new challenge which allows you to take that next step in your career?
OVERVIEW:
A highly rated law firm is keen to appoint a Public Procurement Solicitor into their expanding and growing department. As the newly appointed Public Procurement Solicitor you will be responsible for your own caseload of files including a range of projects such as joint ventures, regeneration projects and also major outsourcing initiatives. Working across a variety of sectors, the successful Procurement Solicitor will be able to advise clients on transport, waste, leisure and the central government sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional Public Procurement Solicitor to join our clients award winning public procurement team. The successful Public Procurement Solicitor will work with clients on a national basis and will have considerable demonstrable experience of public procurement law, gained either in-house or private practice. This experience should include advising clients on procurement processes, structuring purchasing outside of the procurement regime, delivering training for clients and assisting with procurement challenges. The ideal Public Procurement Solicitor will have trained and qualified at a leading firm, and it is expected would have at least 5 years' relevant experience. The successful Public Procurement Solicitor will also have experience of EU state aid law and practice, as well as general commercial contracts. A self-starting and commercial approach is essential along with a willingness to learn and flexibility at an exciting time in the firm's growth strategy. In return, the appointed Public Procurement Solicitor will receive quality of work and strong prospects for the future.
