Job Description:
Commcise requires an accomplished professional with extensive industry knowledge to spearhead sales of the company’s CommciseSELL™ software product. Crucially the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in both ‘buyside’ and ‘sellside’ institutions as our products span both industries. An impressive network of contacts at US brokerages and asset managers will be especially attractive as Commcise views the US as a major sales opportunity for its CommciseSELL™ and CommciseBUY™ products.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the sales strategy for the CommciseSELL™ product
- Use their extensive network within the industry to identify and create new sales opportunities for Commcise, not only for the CommciseSELL™ product, but also for the CommciseBUY™ product.
- Organise, host and speak at industry conferences
- Prepare client materials for sales demos; lead sales demos of the software
- Travel extensively to the US, sometimes for extended periods
Experience and Education Required:
- Degree level educated
- 10+ years working within financial markets institutions on both the ‘sellside’ and ‘buyside’
- Strong knowledge of MiFID II regulation, with particular focus on the rules surrounding use of dealing commissions, and impact to both the buyside and sellside
- Proven, demonstrable track record of managing client strategies and measuring client profitability
- Extensive experience of the broker vote process, including liaison with technology teams to provide analysis and identify areas of opportunity and/or improvement
- Strong appreciation of technology and an understanding of the direction of the industry with regards to technology

Key Relationships:
The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Sales. Regular liaison with the company directors and co-founders will be expected. Engagement with the product team to assist with enhancements and new functionality will also be required.
