Our client, a leading manufacturer in Cardiff are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their Maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
• Overhaul and repair of machines
• Work with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives
• Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules
• Safe working of all plant and equipment
• Troubleshooting and fault finding on production equipment
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
The successful candidate will have:
• Fault finding, repairs and installation work
• Working with and fault finding on PLC controlled systems
• Experience in computer systems within a production environment
• Experience of using drawing, manuals and circuit diagrams as appropriate
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload around production requirements
• HNC or equivalent in an Electrical/Mechanical engineering discipline
The successful candidate will be required to work shifts (currently a 3 shifts pattern Monday - Fri (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am)
Salary is up to 28k dependant on experience - Night shift allowance to be confirmed.
