Title: Data Analyst
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £Competitive dependant on experience

The company is leading trade fashion exhibition organiser, is looking for a commercially minded data analyst to join the team at its Huddersfield office.

Key responsibilities
* Developing statistical models
* Carrying out in-depth results analysis
* Managing suppliers and external resources
* Maintaining and developing existing client relationships from an analysis point of view
* Building and developing databases
* Managing data extracts/imports from in-house and third party databases
* Helping develop new analytics and data products
* Assisting in product development, marketing, finance, sales and business development

Key tasks
* Ensure quality of all data at all times
* Produce existing reports using pre-defined queries and formats
* Collect market data from internal and external sources as appropriate. Data is assembled using appropriate databases, spreadsheets or other data sources
* Design and create new reports utilising current technologies
* Investigate quality issues where necessary

The ideal candidate will:
* Have expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Have previous experience within a similar role
* Have excellent Word, PowerPoint and Access skills
* Have knowledge of on and off line marketing techniques
* Understand the use and application of data
* Understand direct marketing campaign measurement and forecasting techniques
* Have experience of working on multiple data sets for various events / projects
* Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written presentation skills
