THE COMPANY: Our client based in March, Cambridgeshire, on the edge of Doddington Village between Peterborough and Cambridge, provide specialist care for the very young to the elderly. They offer day visits, a rehab centre and hydro therapy pool, respite and continuing long-term support, both within their community village or at home, and support people with a range of different needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to work within a community nursing setting or as a Community Nurse.

THE ROLE: As a Registered Nurse you will responsible for all residents care during the shift and will be expected to ensure that all procedures, nursing and otherwise are properly undertaken. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for supervision of care staff and will be responsible in taking charge of the home when on duty. The Registered Nurse is accountable to the Nurse Care Manager and will also report to and receive support from the Lead Nurse. Key Responsibilities for the Registered Nurse / Registered Mental Health Nurse role in March (Near Peterborough), Cambridgeshire include:

- Provide Nursing care according to each residents individual care plan, whilst planning and evaluating care plans
- Identify and report and change in conditions to the Nurse Care Manager or General Practitioner
- Provide safe and controlled medicine and drugs administration
- Provide a comprehensive handover to the subsequent nurse in charge and ensure records are updated and signed at the end of each shift before handing over
- Provide support to carers and identify training needs for further developments, and attend staff meetings
- Communicate with relatives, professionals and other visitors to the home whilst observing confidentiality at all times

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate must be a naturally empathetic and caring person who is motivated and enthusiastic about helping people. You must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current up to date pin. You will need to live within commutable distance to March and be prepared to work shifts consisting of evenings, nights, and alternate weekends. Any further qualifications or training relating to physiotherapy practice although not essential for this role would be welcomed.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Registered Nurse / Registered Mental Health Nurse role in March (Near Peterborough), Cambridgeshire :-

- Must be Registered RMN or RN with up to date pin
- Must live in or be able to commute to March
- Ability to be flexible and work weekends and evenings on a rota basis is essential
