JOB TITLE: Team Leader Support Worker

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP17, 802,26 per hour with excellent career progression opportunities

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

THE ROLE: As a Team Leader you will play a key role in the day to day management of the services.. You will provide support and supervision to the team of support staff, be key to managing the rota and ensuring staff are fully trained, and provide on the job coaching, feedback, and act as a role model. You will work alongside the Support Manager and staff team to ensure that people's support plans are up to date, and reflect their wishes and aspirations through their person centred plans.

THE CANDIDATE: You need to be positive and committed to supporting and improving people's lives through person centred approaches and team work.
To reach your full potential in this role you need to have the right values in working with people, leadership skills and be able to work as part of a team.

We are looking for an effective communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships and promote and create a person centred culture within the team. Knowledge of support planning and risk assessing as well as a strong track record of achieving outcomes for individuals would be an advantage. A QCF/NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 is desirable but not essential.

Key experience essential for the role:
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good understanding of IT
- Be outgoing, enthusiastic and able to effectively delegate and prioritise
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, including on call duties

You must be flexible and you will be working shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins and a full UK manual driving licence is essential, due to the location of the services and the on call duties.
