An award winning waste management company based in Tring is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator / Assistant to join their Accounts department on permanent basis - Hours are negotiable for the right candidate (Full or part time)

The Role
• To enjoy your role and the place you work.

• To deliver excellent Customer Service in all aspects of the role, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company goals.

Main Duties
• To manage all aspects of the Customer Accounts (including Credit control).
• Assisting other team members where required
• Preparing VAT returns
• Ensuring all VAT work is completed within deadlines
• Assistance with company payroll
• To establish excellent communication and working relationships with internal and external customers
• To deal with queries and potential problems/issues quickly on own initiative, sensitively and assertively
• To organise and plan own workload in order to meet all deadlines
• To fit within the existing team and work effectively and professionally at all times
• Accounts Payable

Requirements
• Must have Sage experience.
• Experience of busy accounts department
• Minimum Grade C GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Working experience of Sales/Purchase Ledger
• Basic understanding of financial accounts
• Credit vetting
