Finance Manager (Job Ref 17-05)

Salary - £33,197 per annum (pro rata for p/t)

based at Young Devon Central Office, Ivybridge

30 to 37 hours per week, to be agreed

We are looking for a positive, approachable, and reliable person to lead our Finance team. This new post has been created with the aim of improving financial reporting across the whole organisation, following a recent upgrade of processes within the finance department.

This is a hands-on role, where you will use your Sage and Excel skills to manage day to day financial operations and to provide accurate and timely information to a variety of stakeholders.

As Finance Manager, you will work alongside our Chief Executive as a full member of our senior leadership group, leading a small team of finance staff.

You will need to have an excellent working knowledge of Excel and Sage Line 50, experience of preparing annual budgets and financial reports (preferably within a similarly-sized environment) and ideally an understanding of the Charity SORP. You will be commercially astute with strong leadership skills, able to manage deadlines and complexity, empathetic and forward looking.
