Our client specialise in the distribution of fresh produce and salads established for over a 100 years are currently looking to recruit an Electrical maintenance engineer
The role
KEY TASKS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Maintain & Monitor Process Machinery
* Service/planned preventative maintenance of process machinery.
* Ensure maximum productivity, accuracy and safety of product,
* Maintain spares availability - replenish parts/stock,
* Machinery well maintained at all times,
* Down-time minimised,
* Machinery operates safely,
* Sufficient stock of parts maintained at all times.
Proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Carry out domestic/industrial repairs as required,
* Seek cost effective long-term solutions.
* Repairs conducted in timeous manner to required schedule,
* Solutions identified and justified
* Record checks using PPMS
Installation of Plant/Equipment as required
* Work with contractor/fellow engineers to install equipment as required.
* Equipment installed correctly and safely.
Carry out on-site safety checks
* Safety and maintenance checks/repairs on bay and chamber doors,
* Inspection of heat/ventilation equipment, and panel voids
* Day to day plant monitoring.
* Regular checks conducted,
* Problems identified quickly and rectified in timeous manner.
Previous experience in a fresh produce / Packhouse environment; flexible attitude to work and Ideally a 17th Edition electrical qualification
