Search Insurance are delighted to be representing this fantastic Insurance business in Leeds who have created a role in their Commercial Underwriting team due to growth.
In the role, you will deal with your own designated broker accounts you will be responsible for developing and enhancing existing Cross Class Commercial business as well as successfully negotiating new business and creating innovative solutions for both broker and customer needs. With autonomy over your own portfolio this is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the management and recognition for the performance of your own portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity which would suit an experienced Commercial Underwriter from either a Property, Motor or Liability perspective who would be interested in cross training across all classes of Commercial, or someone who already has Cross Class Commercial Underwriting experience. Strong brokers may be consider, preferably if you have previous delegated authority experience. You will have excellent negotiation skills, technical ability and the drive to succeed and grow with the business in the future.
