An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cell Manufacturing Engineer to join one of the UK's largest expanding manufacturers based in Clevedon. The purpose of this role is to undertake different functions required of the manufacturing engineering group. The candidate will be expected to work in the operational cell as part of the manufacturing engineering team.

The successful candidate will:

- Effective introduction of Products into Operation Cells
- Daily management with the cell team
- Close all actions allocated at Short Interval Management meeting by the dates agreed
- FTTFR reduction by 50% year on year. Action plans to be developed and agreed with cell leader and team
- FRACAS reduction by 50% Year on year Action plans to be developed and agreed with cell leader and team
- Daily action of all scrap and supplier reject parts from the cell
- Feed back to Product Data Management (PDM) team of all BoM issues
- Work with PDM team to ensure BoM errors are rectified within days
- Feedback to Engineering teams of all drawing or build note errors
- Work with Engineering teams to ensure drawing and build note errors are rectified in a timely manner
- Documentation of standard work and procedures
- Job/skill training in line with requirements of the cell
- Capital justifications
- Process definition, capability and SPC
- Development of verification regimes to effectively ensure the products ability and reliability and conformance to specifications
- Interface with NPI, ETO, TSG, Integrated Systems, Control Systems, Product Management and Operations groups effectively

An ideal Cell Manufacturing Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:
- BEng in Manufacturing Engineering Systems or equivalent with 2 year's experience
- HNC in Electrical or Electro/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years' experience.
- Experience in a low volume, high variety electro-mechanical Manufacturing Operational role
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing role, preferably related to Industrial Systems
- The candidate should have knowledge of a wide range of manufacturing processes
- Experience and understanding of a continuous improvement and change management process
