Excellent opportunity for domestic gas Gas Engineers and Gas Meter Installers to develop a rewarding career within the dual fuel smart meter industry by working with a rapidly expanding multi-utilities company.
The Role:
ACS Qualified Gas engineers required to be trained to become dual fuel engineers and support this leading utilities Client's delivery of their long term smart metering contracts.
Initially working as a gas meter installer the role will involve the upskill training to become fully dual fual qualified in 2017.
The Candidate
To be able to take advantage of this great opportunity, you will need to meet the following criteria:
ACS Gas Qualified:
CCN1 or CMA1 and holding MET1 or MET2
Other ACS or City and Guilds, LOGIC of BPEC Qualifications beneficial.
Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 Penalty Points
Clear Criminal Record History
Be able to provide the ORIGINAL of your ACS Certificates, Right to Work, Driving Licence and Proof of Address at the Interview stage
Be prepared to undertake a Trade Test at Interview
Be prepared to drive a van with a Tracker (Business use only)
Be prepared to receive Electric Meter Training and work as a dual fuel meter installer.
The Benefits
Basic Salary of GBP22,880
Rises up to GBP26,000 once qualified as a dual fuel meter installer
21 days annual leave plus 8 Statutory Holidays
On-Call Standby Allowance of GBP1,800 per annum
One week in four on call and GBP15 per completed call out payment
Van + Fuel Card (Van is racked, ventilated and bulk head)
All Tools are Provided

You will be working for an established utilities contractor employing over 1000 staff across the UK.
