NHBC has a unique opportunity available for a Learning Management System Administrator to join the team in Milton Keynes. The role is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract offering a salary of GBP22,000 - GBP24,500 per annum dependent on experience plus bonus and benefits.

An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Management System Administrator to join the Organisational Development Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
What are the responsibilities of the Learning Management System Administrator?
- To provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Organisational Development function.
- Undertaking all administration activities that support the delivery of all learning activities undertaken by the OD team.
- Answering routine questions and queries from our internal and external customers.
- Booking and arranging training accommodation.
- Setting up training accommodation to meet the facilitator's requirements including; ensuring equipment is available and tested; supporting resources/materials are ordered available and delivered to the room/venue.
- Be the first point of contact for course booking and Learning Management System (LMS) queries.
- Taking ownership and responsibility to resolve queries.
- Escalating or referring queries appropriately & ensuring resolution is achieved.
- Supporting the OD team in planning and delivering learning events for staff in the use of LMS and other new technologies.
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring OD Service Levels are met.
- Maintaining and updating of accurate record systems, both electronic and paper, and provision of cost information and regular statistics.
- Ensuring action is taken to continually improve the service offered by OD.
- Providing support to external suppliers ensuring their requirements are clarified and met so that they have a positive experience of NHBC, HR and OD.
- Answering the telephone, taking messages and escalating as appropriate in the absence of other members of the OD or the wider HR team.
What skills do I need to have to become a Learning Management System Administrator?
- Must have previous experience in an administrative role supporting an LMS, together with good planning and organisation skills.
- Must be able to work proactively and on own initiative, with the ability to prioritise and produce quality work under pressure.
- Must understand the responsibilities associated with working with confidential information.
- Must take a positive attitude to handling queries and be able to adopt a pro-active and customer-focused approach.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, and preferably use of a computerised OD information system.
- Must be numerate with attention to detail.
- Must be able to provide accurate information in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in an OD function or other customer service environment is desirable.

- The starting salary will be from GBP22,000 to GBP24,500 per annum. Please note salary on appointment will be dependent on experience.
