A global pro audio company based in Cornwall are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer experienced with C programming on embedded systems for all new and existing products for professional mixing consoles.
The company are seeking an engineer capable of taking responsibility of design and development of complex real time software systems designs through specification to relation and support. To be based in Cornwall and become responsible for programming with embedded C on Cortex, Freescale or PIC microprocessors and ability to read circuit schematics. You will be expected to liaise with various departments internally to be able to create specifications, design, implement and develop pro audio equipment.
The company specialise in design and manufacturing professional audio equipment with the facilities and the working environment of the organisation being unique and relaxed but driven in achieving targets set.
Key Skills/Experienced required for Embedded Software Engineer, Cornwall:
- 2+ years in complex real time software systems development
- C programming on embedded systems
- Ability to read circuit schematics
- Experience soldering and using oscilloscopes at component level
- Any experience of C++ programming and Object Orientated design would be desirable.
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a related discipline and hold at least 2 years industry experience.
