A leading global organisation based in Buckinghamshire operating in the vehicle telematics solutions arena are seeking a Firmware Engineer to design and develop embedded software for custom based hardware towards vehicle telematics products. This is the 2nd requirement for the company after successfully growing the team last year.
The Firmware Engineer will be based in Buckinghamshire and will be involved in a variety of activities including liaising with offsite design engineers whilst remaining hands on as programming embedded software in C focusing on board level bring up and firmware development within an agile environment.
Key Skills/ Experience:
- Experience of design and coding of embedded solutions at both application and hardware interface level on custom hardware.
- Experience of firmware programming in C.
- Exposure to developing high volume products and or/systems with large numbers of users.
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a related field or hold relevant experience.
