THE CANDIDATE
2 x Software Engineer
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Siemens S7 - for programming PLCs
- Siemens Win CC - for HMI interface
- Must have software design and commissioning experience
- Understanding of a PC based SCADA System
NICE TO HAVE
- Allen Bradley SLC
- Control Logix PLCs
- Working Knowledge of Siemens TIA, iFix SCADA, VB and MS SQL
- Experience in food mixing, brewery, beverage, dairy sector - anything industrial
THE ROLE
2 x Software Engineer
Our clients are looking to recruit a couple of Software Engineers to join their friendly team, to produce and commission automation projects for equipment in the pharmaceutical industry. This role covers all aspects of control systems engineering; from requirement specification, designing, and testing right through to commissioning (this may involve travelling both in the UK and oversees).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and writing of PLC control system software
- Producing the required documentation (functional design specification, manuals etc...)
- Testing
- Commissioning of systems
- Training of customer maintenance and operator staff
- Implementation of changes on site to electrical panels when required
