Wise Employment is seeking a Software Engineer to work within the research and development department of a niche manufacturing company in Falmouth. Thispermanent opportunity is offering a salary up to GBP40,000 and is an immediate start for the successful applicant.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.
Key duties, skills and responsibilities:
- Write specifications/ develop prototype code
- Develop software to a high standard
- Test, debug, and document code methodically
- Develop softwarefeatures for newand existing products
- C Programming on embedded systems
- Ability to read circuit schematics
- Experience programming Cortex/ ARM/ Freescale/ PIC processors
- Digital electronic circuit design
- Soldering
- Understanding of serialcommunications/ USB
- C++ programming
- OO Software analysis and design
- Understanding of audio concepts
- Other associated tasks
