Technical Architect - Edinburgh - 2 Months initially GBP450-GBP500 per day
The Client
Spring's prestigious public sector client is looking for a Technical Architect to work in the centre of Edinburgh. They are currently trying to update a well used portal for both internal and external customers.
The Role
The Technical Architect will have a great background in web developing and working with portals. You will be charged with the creation of a new portal that can be integrated with older legacy systems.
Essential Criteria
*Relevant university degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 year's experience of web development experience in a senior role
*Excellent analytically and communication skills with the ability to apply critical thinking and communicate complex information
*Experience designing and implementing large-scale online systems, both client and server side
*Good experience with modern web architecture and languages/tools
*Good understanding of client-side frameworks such as Anglers, integrated with web services
*Enterprise-level development experience in Java
Desirable Criteria
*Understanding of the Java Port let Specification
*Experience of implementing solutions which deliver personalised content
*Experience integrating and working with legacy systems
