An industry leading designer and manufacturer in Bedfordshire have an Electrical Test Engineer - HV job opportunity based at their new world class manufacturing facility.
The main responsibilities of the Electrical Test Engineer - HV job in the Bedfordshire include carrying out the Factory Acceptance Testing of the final product in order to gather data to be analysed to check that the product is up to customer standards before being sent out. Other responsibilities include setting up instrumentation to gather appropriate data, operating switchgear, developing test plans and strategies alongside the Test Manager as well as ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to in the Test Bay area.
The role is on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Friday rotating between 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 shift patterns.
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Test Engineer job in Bedfordshire will have experience of High voltage test, testing electronic or electromechanical products such as motors, transformers or power modules, be able to operate Switchgear and be able to set up instrumentation to be used for testing. Experience of gathering data using LabVIEW would be beneficial for the role but is not essential as training can be provided where necessary.
