Site Technician - Leicester
Salary: GBP 17-20k

Our client is a dynamic multidisciplinary organisation providing a raft of specialist services throughout the construction industry. Due to recent expansion and increasing workload we are looking for experienced Site Technicians to join the team in our Structures and Pavements Department. This key position is based at our Leicester office however will require regular site visits within the UK (50%). There will also be a requirement to work nights and weekends
Experience and duties will include:
Undertaking various structures and pavement tests such as Non Destructive Testing, Condition Inspection surveys, Investigations and various sampling techniques, working to UKAS standards
Ensuring site sampling and testing is carried out to high standards of safety, quality and efficiency
Ensuring adequate and proper records are kept and filed correctly to comply with our management systems
Ensuring test equipment is checked, cleaned, calibrated and functioning properly
Experience within highways and rail environments would be advantageous
Requirements:
Materials Testing and Civil Engineering experience is essential
Full Driving License
CSCS card would be advantageous
Good oral, written and numeracy skills
Weekend working on regular rotor basis
HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Computer literate
