In this role, you will be based in the office in Cambridge, however you will be focusing on field sales throughout the UK, so travel is an essential part of the role. As BD Manager, you will be responsible for;
- Following up leads and closing sales
- Preparing proposal documents for presenting
- Covering all of the UK with field sales
- Delivering factory tours and site visits
The experience we are looking for in candidates is;
- A background in technical sales
- A keen eye for detail and a history of preparing commercial work proposals
- A history and proven record of closing sales
- A background in Steel Fabrications and Manufacuring (desirable)
This is a commission based role also, so in addition to your basic salary, you can expect to make a considerable additional amount. There is also the offer of a company car/ car allowance, mobile and laptop.
