Key Account Manager
Location: Basingstoke

Our client has a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading organic company with major presence in the both the on and off trade. We require individuals that are positive and enthusiastic working for a high profile FMCG brand.
As Account Manager you will be a trusted advisor to key clients, broadening and deepening the businesses client relationships with a diverse product range.
You will have excellent presentation skills, be able to communicate at all levels, be assertive and persuasive. You will also have the ability to demonstrate originality and creativity in solving problems and meeting the needs of the clients to achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.
Main Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager

Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be tasked with providing crucial input into the development of sales and maximising efficiency across new and existing accounts.
* The role will be split between managing key accounts and developing new business in a strategic manner, any new business will be handled by yourself in an effort to help develop your portfolio.
* Forging strong internal relationships is fundamental in this role with transparency across the product portfolio to ensure customer demands and specifications are met on time and in full.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience of the Key Account Manager:
To be considered for this role you must have;

Previous experience in Account Management or Sales within FMCG and display an attitude that is key to success.
* Strong account management and relationship building skills.
* Highly self-motivated.
* Excellent customer service with excellent communication skills.
* Strong negotiating skills and able to manage your own time effectively.
