LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of an award-winning team who are leading specialists within Plastic and Cardboard recycling services. Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their rapidly expending dynamic team in Derby.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Cold calling and generating new business opportunities offering Plastic and cardboard recycling services.
- Daily communication with the existing client base, providing excellent account management duties along with developing sales opportunities.
- Negotiating prices for materials and setting loading dates / times.
- Attending site visits and inspecting materials loads when required.
- Working towards a monthly sales target.
- Developing new and existing clients into Key Accounts.
Experience & Requirements
- It is essential that you are a confident "go getter" with a hunger for winning new business and possess the skills to identify opportunities within the competitive plastics and cardboard recycling market.
- New business sales experience as a Field Sales Executive, commercial buyer or Business Development Manager.
- Proven experience in recycling industry, especially plastics recycling.
- Strong understanding of waste streams and recyclable material.
- Relationship builder with strong presentation skills.
- Self-starter, target driven with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Full driving licence essential.
