Sales Director - Connector Distribution
Generally office based when you're not out seeing clients (West Sussex) able and willing to stay away from home in the UK and abroad, as required to meet the needs of the business.
Salary GBP65,000 to GBP75,000 plus Bonus, Car and Company Benefits.
This will be working for one of the UK's leading connector Distributors covering a wide variety of available interconnection solutions such as RF, coaxial, D connectors, sub-miniature, aerospace, test & measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors, backshells and adaptors and connectors for rack and panel applications. Including general industry, military, aerospace, motorsport, entertainment, test and measurement, mining and offshore oil and gas.
Selling Franchised lines from some of the biggest Manufactures such as Huber+Suhner, Souriau, Positronic, Pancon, HellermannTyton, Neutrik, ITW McMurdo, Polamco, Nicomatic and Glenair.
You will take control of sales growth of electrical connectors and associated products from the Company??EURs portfolio in line with business objectives and targets. Working directly with the Managing Director to develop an effective sales strategy for the business to include tactics, sales plans and profit targets to keep the Company competitive and innovative.
You will have a proven track record of maximising order intake and Company profit, Identifying and reporting on new business opportunities in existing and target markets, Identify valuable emerging markets and align stock holding and new products to support, Seeking out major clients and forming working relationships with the premier buyers across industry sectors and manage an internal / external sales team to deliver Company targets
Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience working as a Senior Manager/Director within a technical sales environment working for a distributor/manufacturer/supplier of electromechanical components.
Alternatively, extensive experience of an alternative market sector would be considered along with a proven track record of sales growth and experience of innovative methodology within a distribution business.
