My client is looking for a New Business Director to go out and sell this SaaS based web acceleration software into verticals like finance, manufacturing, eCommerce, travel, or any industry where consumers use mobile to interact.

The New Business Director will close new business as part of the company's team selling content and web application acceleration services. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive base salary with uncapped (no ceiling) commissions while representing a leading company that is helping companies grow their global businesses through web 2.0 applications.

As New Business Director, your duties will require you to:
- Generate new revenues from a predefined sales territory; aggressively hunt new prospects.
- Meet with Senior executives in closing new deals.
- Prospect / qualifying / win new customer engagements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts.
- Work closely with the regional Sales Director in developing sales strategies and training

The New Business Director will support the existing team in driving revenue and building this high growth business across the UK.

In order to be considered for the New Business Director role, we would ideally look for:
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in prospecting/qualifying/closing sales for an organisation in a hi-tech industry.
- Somebody with the knowledge of the internet, the company and web acceleration.
- Minimum 4 years Sales experience in the SaaS, Cloud, Managed Services or internet infrastructure industry, ideally with a similar company generating new business deals.
- Experience with a high volume of activity, including calls, demos, emails, face-to-face customer presentations, and more.
- Somebody with experience doing live portal demos to prospects.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced working environment where only self-motivated succeed.
- Experience in teaming with Sales Engineer resources, as well as excellent team working, written and verbal communication skills.
- Somebody who is motivated, goal-oriented and energetic.
- Somebody who works well in a team environment and supports their peers and team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in all MS Office products including Excel.
- Handles deadline pressures well.
- Ability to travel across the UK region as required.
- Educated to university level or equivalent.

The New Business Director will have a demonstrable track record of:
- Achieving sales goals with strong sales and management skills.
- Experience of selling into enterprise companies and verticals.
- Experience of demonstrating ROI and high added-value to customers.
- Outstanding closing skills and a track record exceeding new business quota through the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, proof of concept and closing.
- A demonstrated creative approach to structuring deals, marketing and other aspects of the sales cycle.
