The Company
This highly successful, well-known branded and own-label food manufacturer is looking to expand and develop its customer base. New Product Development has been at the core of their success, constantly evolving to move with customer trends and tastes. Whilst maintaining core products and values. Producing quality food for Foodservice channels including cost and profit sectors.
The Role
You will be concentrating on National accounts within the Contract Catering and Education sector Ideally you will have experience of selling food to these sectors. You will be selling a number of prepared food products. Being an experienced National Account Manager you will be someone that has at least three years experience in similar position.
The Person
As an experienced National Account Manager ideally gained within an FMCG sales food background, you will be a strategic business do-er. Have a demonstrable track record of achievement of managing and developing accounts and understand their systems and buying styles. As well understand how individual accounts work and how to manage them effectively.
Key responsibilities include
- Maximise product presence across Contract Catering and Education.
- Play leading part in managing and driving new sales.
- You will be fully responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets in accounts.
- To manage and develop strong long term sales relationships with relevant customers.
- Implementation of the company's strategic sales plan for your specific customers. Develop short, medium & long terms plans for your accounts.
