A well-known forward thinking company based in the Midlands is seeking a home based Field Account Manager to join its expanding team due to continued growth and expansion. You will be based from home in and around the Leicester / Nottingham region as your patch will cover the East Midlands patch. You will have to travel to the Head office in Studley, Warwickshire at least once a week and will be based there for initial training.
The Field Account Manager will be working for a logistics company monitoring use of assets and inventories by visiting drop points to improve collection and recovery rate. You will receive a company car, phone, laptop and 5% bonus.
As the Field Account Manager, your duties will include:
- Regularly visiting the assigned drop points to follow pallets recovery, use and to understand, update and follow the logistics network of the drop points.
- Scheduling visits to all drop points based on risk, audit and action plan.
- Regularly visit the assigned drop point, adapt collection mode and check quantities.
- Visiting haulers and implementing action plans.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of flows.
To be a successful Field Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience within logistics.
- Experience selling to retailers or wholesalers.
- Excellent relationship building skills and be able to work under your own initiative as you will be responsible for managing your diary and ensuring that all drop points are serviced correctly.
- Full UK, clean driving licence.
- This role would ideally suit someone who has worked in customer service, sales, logistics, account management.
In return, the Field Account Manager will receive a salary of GBP25,000 - GBP27,500 per annum.
