A leading main contractor is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their team. They are specialists in planning, managing and improving their clients workplaces. Key clients are from the public and private sector. They currently seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to increase value, reduce cost, drive profit and manage risk in a safe and ethical manner.
Your role would include agreeing terms and conditions of subcontractors and coordinating and managing their selection; coordinating subcontractor tender responses and providing comparisons; producing valuation breakdowns to maximise cashflow; chasing valuations, certificates, invoices and cash from clients to hit cashflow targets; presenting final accounts as soon as possible after completion; owning the project profitability.
You should have proven experience of Surveying within construction and refurbishment projects and experience of schedules of rates would be an advantage.
