Digital and Graphic Designer
Location: Southport
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Digital Graphic Designer to add to their skilled team of designers to work in the design studio.
Set in a modern bright and open plan working environment, our client's offices are situated in Southport.
The ideal candidate would need to be able to show the relevant experience with the duties below:
What are we looking for?
- Brand awareness
- Solid design skills
- Graphic layouts, communication literature
- Retail FMCG & food packaging awareness is a big bonus
- Who is able to work as a team member or on their own initiative
- Good verbal communication & listening skills
- Able to deal with customers on the telephone, politely and efficiently
- A keen eye for detail and good spelling and grammar are a must
Software skills necessary:
Adobe Creative Suite: In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator
A working knowledge of digital design disciplines is a big bonus, with Word Press being the main focus for coding, Magento, CMS, CSS, skills would be an advantage but are not crucial.
Bonus skill sets:
- 3D skills, Cinema 4D or Lightwave
- Animation skills
- Video shooting and editing
- Photography and camera setting knowledge
The package includes:
- Gourmet sandwiches for lunch are provided on all staff birthdays
- All-inclusive group nights out are a regular occurrence
- 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
- Fresh brewed coffee every day
- Working hours are: 8:30 to 5:30, with 1 hour for lunch
