We are a highly regarded market-leading company providing HR and Payroll services, consultancy and training to over 1200 schools and academies across England.
Due to our significant year upon year growth we are seeking to appoint to an HR Adviser / Senior HR Adviser to work predominantly in the Norfolk area.
Competitive salary and benefits depending on experience
Our client list continues to grow rapidly and as a result we are looking to appoint a highly motivated HR Adviser / Senior HR Adviser posts which will be home based, to support and jointly advise a client base of nearly 100 schools on site or remotely.
The successful candidate will work closely with the locally based Assistant Director and Senior HR Adviser, growing the team in the area. Travel will be required to EPM's offices or occasionally to support customers in other locations. Travel is essential and you will therefore be required to provide your own transport for business use.
The post holder will be responsible for a portfolio of schools and academies, to provide the full range of HR employee relations advice, contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures and lead on HR projects within this fast paced, challenging working environment.
The successful candidates will:
have a proven track record of managing and solving the full range of employee relations related casework in a unionised environment and preferably within the education sector
be able to quickly establish credibility with clients and colleagues
have excellent interpersonal skills
be able to manage challenging situations with an ability to influence at all levels
be able to advise clients on the assessed options available to them, supporting them with their chosen decision
have the ability to work independently with the support of a large specialist team of HR and payroll professionals
be committed to providing a high standard of service
have strong knowledge of employment law
first class organisational skills
have excellent IT skills
be either part or full CIPD qualified
