As HR Manager, you will be working on a full-time basis, to continue to develop a comprehensive people management and development framework for a Banbury based company, which supports and reflects strategy and operational objectives. You will ensure the company adheres to legislative and organisational best practices and will positively represent the company to existing and potential employees, clients and other business stakeholders.

Action: what will I be doing?

- Providing advice, guidance and support to the management team that upholds UK HR legal requirements and best practice both in the UK and internationally
- Supporting the management team in developing the company's business plans and strategy
- Aligning the HR strategy with business goals, ensuring projects are implemented at appropriate times and deliver business benefit
- Centrally managing and developing the recruitment and retention of talent across the company
- Managing and leading the new joiner induction process
- Identifying and managing the direction and provision of training and development activities
- Managing and developing the company's appraisal procedures and timetable
- Assisting the management team and coaching on performance management issues and processes
- Managing the annual staff engagement survey, identifying any areas for improvement and assisting the management team in appropriately addressing issues raised
- Managing and ensuring the company adheres to an appropriate reward and recognition strategy
- Utilising management information to identify trends and potential people issues providing resolutions and escalation, where necessary
- Managing relationships with key external HR related service providers such as recruitment agencies and training providers
- Researching, developing and proposing improvements and amendments to the working environment, and internal policy documents
- Developing and maintaining electronic HR records and systems
- Ensuring all HR processes are accurately represented and adhered to within the agreed guidelines
- Ensuring all HR documentation is aligned to guidelines
- Providing monthly and ad hoc HR reports to the management team
- Managing employee relations including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
- Identifying changes in legislation, market trends or best practice which will have potential impacts upon the company and devising strategies to in-act change as a result
- Managing the compilation of information to the payroll team, perform detailed review and provide preliminary authorisation for partner sign-off
- Creating budgets for all staff costs, training, development and personnel related activities in line with HR and Business Strategy and ensure costs are monitored and controlled throughout the financial year
- Managing the content and delivery of key internal communications
- Ensuring structures are in place to enable employee consultation where appropriate and for employees to have a voice
- Managing and developing Corporate Social Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting teams with social and charitable events
- Any other duties as and when required by the senior management team
- Appropriately delegating to, and supervising the work of, the HR administrator
- Ensuring the continued development and appropriate progression of the HR administrator
- Managing the Reception function
- Ownership and accountability for all Health and Safety compliance including Fire assessments, General risk assessments and first aiders
