AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE
An exciting opportunity have arisen for a full-time Area Sales Representative to join a leading supplier and distributor of industrial mechanical components based in Stafford.
The company supply and distribute a variety of industrial mechanical components such as bearings, chains and sprockets, belts and pulleys, motors, industrial gearboxes, pumps and inverters, to the manufacturing industry and process plants throughout the UK.
Working within a 50 mile radius of Stafford, the Area Sales Representative will help to develop new and build existing customer relationships, and increase sales through the area.
As an Area Sales Representative you will be responsible for:
- Generating new sales leads and opportunities
- Understanding the needs of potential customers and developing product groups to meet their needs
- Validating customer spend potential
- Designing and delivering sales presentations to secure new customer accounts
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate activity records for customers and prospects
- Building effective business relationships with key stakeholders
- Engaging key suppliers for technical and commercial support
- Managing all commercial trading terms and agreements
To be a successful Area Sales Representative, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills with active listening
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Sales and results driven, with a 'can do' attitude
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Well organised, with structured planning
- Industry experience preferred but not essential as product training will be given
- Must have a full UK driving licence
You will be working 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, visiting customers within a 50 mile radius of Stafford.
In return you will receive an attractive salary, commission and a company car. OTE GBP28,000.
