With their main aim and vision being to encourage thinking and inspire debate, they are an exciting company to be a part of. An unique opportunity has arisen within their events department, for an engaged sales professional to join their thriving delegate sales team on a freelance basis.
The Role:
As a delegate sales executive you will be responsible for raising awareness and selling event places to clients based across a range of sectors; from finance to pharmaceutical to healthcare. You will be talking directly to decision makers in companies, often directors, CEO's and senior decision makers within these industries. You will be comfortable closing business on the phone and following up sales with all the necessary administration. Responsibilities will include:
* Achieving sales targets through targeted campaigns
* Selling bespoke delegate and event packages to the UK and International clients.
* Involvement in cross selling across the events portfolio
* Working in a driven and successful team
* Working to your own initiative in order to get results
The Person:
The successful delegate sales executive will be able to immerse themselves fully within the role, pick up the portfolio and make an impact from the start. They will recognise the unique opportunity this role provides and will be able to demonstrate strong commitment and awareness of the importance of the contract for networking opportunities. You will also possess:
* A good event sales background, ideally within conferences
* A proven track record of achieving targets
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Able to work on your own and in a team
* A flexible attitude towards work
