Looking for an exciting recruitment opportunity within an established specialist?
THE COMPANY:
Midas Selection has been established for over 20 years and operates nationally in the field of permanent sales, marketing and executive recruitment. We are seeking to appoint an experienced recruitment consultant or a proven sales professional that has experience of working within technical sales or the recruitment of professionals that work for manufacturers and suppliers of mechanically and electrically engineered solutions. This maybe in heating and ventilation or air conditioning, or building management systems and controls, switchgear, automation, materials handling, pumps and valves, pneumatics and hydraulics, industrial consumables, chemicals, gases, or automotive or other technical solutions.
Based just off St Pauls Square in central Birmingham, we have excellent purpose developed offices in a central location. Working for Midas is different to working in many other recruitment positions.
There is the ability to select an element of your own working hours to provide a great work/life balance and also to benefit from a competitive monthly commission structure and other incentives including early finishes if above target. The combination of a strong position within an established, successful, growing division within an excellent company to work for makes this a truly fantastic role for an experienced recruiter.
THE ROLE:
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or up and coming recruitment consultant to join an established division. We are fortunate enough to have a strong presence and reputation with our target customer base nationally and are able to stand out from many other recruitment companies by being a true specialist in in Sales and Marketing recruitment.
You will have an opportunity to work with some fantastic clients in addition to developing your own client base.
We take a "hands on" approach to the industry we recruit for, so you will be encouraged to attend industry exhibitions, visit as many clients as possible for meetings and open days and take an interest in the manufacturing sector.
You will work to an overall yearly target for revenue but also to weekly and monthly KPIS which are also incentivised.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within an interesting and growing market sector.
THE APPLICANT:
We are seeking to ideally attract candidates with recruitment experience (not necessarily our sector) and an interest in mechanical or electrical products, engineering, manufacturing and technical solutions.
- Applicants are preferred to have previous recruitment experience placing candidates in permanent positions although candidates with a temp recruitment background will also be considered.
- Applicants are preferred to have an interest in technical solutions.
- We would like applicants to be confident and efficient at both telephone selling, and business development and candidate attraction and candidate management.
- Candidates must have strong relationship building skills and an enthusiastic, driven approach to achieving targets.
