Financial / Technical Copywriter

A Financial / Technical Copywriter is sought to join this established financial research company based in London. You'll need to be a strong writer, with experience of writing technical or finance related content as well as having strong analytical skills and knowledge of the financial markets.

The organisation is a leading provider of data and intelligence to the alternative assets industry. Their clients include fund managers, financial advisors, asset managers and placement agents worldwide.

They are now seeking a Financial / Technical Copywriter to join their Commercial Team. The company is the most quoted source in the financial press regarding alternative assets, and as such this is an influential and commercially important role.

Title: Financial / Technical Copywriter
Location: City of London
Salary: £25k - £28k basic salary, plus quarterly performance related bonus of up to £2k per annum

The Financial / Technical Copywriter will be responsible for the following:
- Producing engaging data-driven content
- Providing insightful analysis of the alternative assets industry
- Presenting creative new perspectives on complex data sets
- Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Additional functions of the role include coordinating between design, tech, marketing and sales teams for new product developments; contributing to the definition of the product marketing strategy; monitoring product sales performance; conducting competitive intelligence and consumer surveys; organising events and targeting key conferences

The ideal Financial / Technical Copywriter will possess the following:
- Experience of writing engaging content in an analytical / financial environment
- Proficiency in using Excel to analyse large amounts of data
- The ability to work to strict deadlines
- Highly developed research skills with the motivation to seek out answers
- Be an alternative assets expert (or be highly motivated to become one!)

As a Financial / Technical Copywriter you will need to be committed to quality, an excellent copy editor and love working with data and data-driven content.
