You will be working for...

A government organisation that is responsible for all strategic decisions on the UK civil space programme and provide a clear, single voice for UK space ambitions.

In this job you will be...

- Booking and facilitating meetings
- Making travel arrangements nationally and internationally
- Minute taking at meetings
- Exposure to project management tasks
- Working with financial data and report preparation

Your training will...

Start with a 12-14 month Business apprenticeship, which consists of 10 days of in-centre training in combination with work-based assessment, covering: IT skills, Customer service, Administration and Complaints handling.

You will gain a City & Guilds Level 3 in Business & Administration. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning GBP25k in a business role.

Who should apply...

We are seeking an applicant who is computer literate, has good organisational skills, adaptable, able to work as part of a team or on own initiative and willing to work under pressure often with tight deadlines. The successful applicant will also ideally have 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Other Important information:

The successful applicant will need to pass a basic government security check and will be expected to 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday) with protected time each week to undertake their study requirements as part of the apprentice programme.

There may be some travel within the UK as part of the role either to our other offices in London or Harwell or to other destinations dependant on business requirements.

There is a possibility of full time employment dependant on candidate's performance and appropriate vacancies being available at the end of the apprenticeship.
