Job Title: Assessor - Beauty Therapy / Nail Services
Location: Based remotely to cover West Midlands / Shropshire / Warwickshire and surrounding areas - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: GBP21,000 - GBP24,000 (Pro Rata)

Type: Part Time (3 days per week), Permanent
KM Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading training provider who are looking to appoint a Part Time Qualified Assessor to assess learners working towards Beauty Therapy / Nails Apprenticeships.
The successful Assessor will be home based and be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking Apprenticeships and to ensure the timely and accurate completions in line with company procedures and timescales.
Duties include:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Beauty Therapy and Nail Services to levels 2/3
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT to level 2
- Proactively recruit new learners through employer engagement activities to grow and maintain own caseload.
- Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
- Support, advise and motivate learners
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs
Essential Criteria:
- Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
- Experience of delivering full framework Apprenticeships in Beauty Therapy and Nail Services to levels 2/3, including Functional Skills to level 2
- Must hold relevant occupational competency within Beauty Therapy and Nail Services
- Candidates must be happy with Learner recruitment - and be able to demonstrate experience of performing business development or employer engagement tasks
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
- Must be flexible with travel
