UK Young Autism Project is a division of UK Behaviour Analysis and Research Group C.I.C.
We are looking to recruit individuals to work as ABA Tutors with children with autism. The role will involve working in Sutton Coldfield and other areas in Birmingham.
ABA tutors teach children using Applied Behaviour Analysis techniques. Whilst no experience is necessary, a psychology or relevant degree is helpful and a natural enthusiasm and energy to work with children is essential.
Full theoretical and practical training is provided with on going training and supervision. In addition, we provide the opportunity to pursue an excellent career path with the provision of training for progression into senior positions within the company.
The successful candidate must have effective interpersonal and communication skills; an ability to listen, understand, educate, advise and present and the ability to work as part of a professional team, including taking direction from managers and giving and receiving feedback to all members of the team.
Session times typically run from 9am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 5pm. We are looking to fill a full-time vacancy working Monday - Friday.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding children and young people, appointment to this post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check with a check against the barred lists for children and adults.
Please note, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond directly to all applications and enquiries. Please submit your CV and a cover letter if you are interested in a position.
