Training Officer

Joining their Home Energy division in Newcastle, the Training Officer will identify development needs and design, create and deliver solutions across the business whilst ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to complete their roles successfully. You will be required to promote training initiatives, BAU training and on-going development initiatives in order to meet internal and external industry standards.
A highly organised and self-motivated individual, you will have energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others and be able to deliver programmes to the highest possible standard. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will have previous experience in a Training Officer or Training Manager position and have extensive understanding of training methodologies and modes of delivery.
They are looking for someone who is approachable, commercially focused and who can devise solutions to complex problems. Focused on achieving targets, you will have previous experience within a customer service environment and hold or be working towards a National Accreditation for Training.
A CIPD accredited training qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable, as is experience of working within the energy industry.
