Regional Trainer - Warehousing & Security (Tutor, Teacher) BLUR45794
Covering West Midlands
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP26,000
Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an Employability Tutor who has experience in delivering either Warehousing and Storage or Security. This is a permanent full time position where you will be covering the West Midlands.
As a Trainer, you will develop and deliver courses in Employability and Warehouse and Storage and/or Security. Ensuring the appropriate lesson plans and schemes of work are in place for the relevant classes, you will deliver quality courses to the learners who have been enrolled. Embedding English and Maths into courses where appropriate and supporting enrolment processes, you will manage a class and ensure that marking of work and assessments are in line with agreed timescales.
They are looking for someone who has a Level 4 teaching qualification, coupled with experience in either Warehousing and Storage or Security. To deliver security, you will need to have experience of working in the industry, as well as qualifications in conflict management and physical intervention. To deliver warehousing and storage, you will ideally have a Level 2 certificate in warehousing, coupled with some relevant, recent experience.
With a motivating and driven teaching method to engage learners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, you will have experience of teaching to the unemployed market, and a willingness to constantly evolve teaching to meet the requirements of the learners. Above all you will be motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills.
