Information Security Training Manager
This not-for-profit organisation with a wide remit is currently seeking an Information Security Training Manager as part of an ongoing revamp of their information security team.
There is a large programme of work ongoing at the moment to meet new risks and threats as well as respond to changes in industry and legislation that have led to a large investment in Information Security in the organisation.
The Role
As part of this, a training manager is required to oversee all aspects of the internal training for the area. This will involve;
- Working with the business to determine and analyse needs.
- Create training plans and strategies to ensure these needs are met.
- Creating and delivering training material
- Working with 3rd parties to oversee the creation and delivery of specialist training materials.
- Ensuring the continuing development of the information security training programme to meet both organisational need as well as external industry developments.
- Target increased engagement from the business both at an organisational and individual level around all aspects of information security.
- Support the organisation in achieving ISO27001 through the implementation of an effective training plan.
About You
You will either be an experienced training with experience of creating owning and managing a training plan within an organisation with some knowledge of Information Security or will be an experienced Information Security professional within some training experience who is interested in developing this aspect of your role further.
You will need strong communication and planning skills, and will be comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders within the business to determine needs and requirements as well as managing 3rd parties to ensure effective training courses are delivered.
