As the Concept Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative merchandising initiatives. You'll play a key role in both the initial concept design of a variety of merchandising displays, and visiting Clogau (and retail partner) stores across the UK to implement and install displays that create a stunning visual experience for customers.
Your responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to:
- Utilising your creative design skills to develop, plan and create innovative merchandising concepts such as window displays, in store POS displays and signage concepts
- Visiting stores around the UK to implement and install visual displays, ensuring high standard of display is maintained by the in-store teams and training them to effectively execute the visual concept
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders including the Brand Manager and Marketing team to ensure ment with Clogau's marketing strategy and brand guidelines
- Monitoring and managing the merchandising financial budget, negotiating costs and sourcing necessary material such as fabrics, hardware and lighting
- Designing accurate visual merchandising instruction packs to communicate visual guidelines including layout principles, visual dressings and signage
- Maintaining awareness of other retailers' visual merchandising concepts, as well as conducting research on current and future trends of design and lifestyle, and associated target markets
- Seeking feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implement changes where required
To be considered for this Concept Merchandiser role you MUST have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Proven experience in a similar creative visual merchandising role, ideally within a fast paced speciality retail environment
- Experience in project management, with a high level of planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of budgetary control
- A creative flair with the ability to deliver unique and eye catching merchandising material
- Self-motivation and a team player with an enthusiastic approach to work
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Ability to prioritise and adapt quickly, with a flexibility towards tasks and hours
- Knowledge and genuine interest in the fashion industry
- High level of attention to detail
- A full UK Driving Licence
Experience with creative / computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Mockshop or Adobe Creative Suite is highly advantageous, although not essential.

Salary:Circa GBP25,000 per annum, level dependent on experience

Hours of Work:9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be needed to work weekends, early morning or evenings for installations.
Contracted Hours:37.5 hours per week
Contract Type:Permanent
Location:Field based, visiting Clogau stores and retail partner sites across the UK. Travel will also be required to the Clogau head office in North Wales.
