RETAIL/MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

Our client is a jewellery company and they are looking to recruit a new merchandiser to cover a large territory across Essex.
The ideal candidate will live within a 10 mile radius of Ilford or Colchester.
The working week consists of 5 days including one weekend day. Business expensed company car provided with laptop and phone.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be tenacious to go into store where stock is currently on sale to:
- Build and develop relationships with key store personnel
- Communicate promotional activity in-store
- Tidy and replenish merchandising stands
- Scan stock for sales activity figures
Visiting 3 / 4 stores a day, you will need to be organised and motivated to cover the area required and there may be a fully expensed overnight stay across the working week required.
Good basic administration skills will be required to complete the relevant journey plans, prepare sales information for email and stock counting.
